All they had to do was play the same for the rest of the game and we'd be picking 6th. Dammit, they can't even lose right.

Great win last night for the guys! Young players gaining confidence and improving is what you want to see! Jacob Markstrom is definitely the #1 next year, he has to be!

OMG, Carol, I completely blocked that from my mind until now!! That John Shannon prediction was horrendous!

I really hope it was an input error on defense and should read 1-6 from left column down and then right. No way is Edler-Tanev not going to be a pairing and Hutton will not be on the 3rd pairing. Also Bart better not be back

Tryamkin (pronounced Tram-kin).. I have been saying it wrong the entire time.

Anyhow, the kid seems fairly confident. Says he thinks he can play either side. Confirms his height and weight at 6 foot 8, 240 lbs. Says the buzz around his name being circulated on social media was a huge reason why he decided to come over right after his KHL season ended. Says he is ready to play today (even on 45 minutes of total sleep).

Hi Carol
I did notice Shannon's roster predictions and laughed at the time. He doesn't know anything about the Canucks clearly so I didn't mention it again. It's a shame that Sportsnet has commentators that clearly don't understand the Canucks roster, the Comets roster, our prospects, cap situation and which players are waiver eligible. But I don't expect much anymore

Exactly, I just flagged him. Now I know to go do something else when John Shannon is on, great marketing idea Sportsnet.

I didnt watch the intermission, or most of the game for that matter, does anyone know if he tried to justify or explain the depth chart at all?
Just curious if he is a big fan of Cassels and thinks that this offseason he will show up next season and overtake JM, Gaunce, etc on the depth chart, OR the more likely that he picked a few names he recognized and threw it at the wall...

Shannon is out of his mind!
What, no 18 year old rookies in the top 6? Or 3 rookie Dmen?
Get outta here.

OK so every listing including khl has tryamkin at 202 cm. Done correctly the conversion makes him 6'7.5" so that would be his actual height. As previously pointed out by 2 posters, if you dont convert the decimal points back to inches you arrive at 6'6.....

So his height is in fact 6'7.5"

His junior weight at the time of drafting was 230. Khl lists him as 255 now just a week ago.

I was listening to him on hockey central and he did have a good point about being patient with Benning. Rebuilding a team takes time and balls. You can cherry pick moves and deals from every move he has made but already he is making moves that previous management wasn't. He has improved this team and inserted a $hitload of youth in to this line up. It takes a lot to rebuild a team.

With three call-ups remaining I sure hope they get a look at Pedan and Tram at the same time!

Why does 1/2 cm matter so much?
